Public Bus
To reach Radnor Lake State Park from central Murfreesboro, start by taking the public bus route 1 from the Murfreesboro Transit Center (located at 1111 N. Front St). Ride the bus towards Nashville for about 30 minutes. Disembark at the stop near the intersection of Murfreesboro Pike and Otter Creek Rd. From the bus stop, walk south on Otter Creek Rd for approximately 0.5 miles, and you will arrive at the entrance of Radnor Lake State Park.
Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop in Murfreesboro. Start your journey by biking along E Main St heading west. Continue onto S Church St and then merge onto US-231 N. Follow US-231 N to Nashville, and then take the exit toward Otter Creek Rd. Continue on Otter Creek Rd until you reach Radnor Lake State Park. The total biking distance is approximately 20 miles.
Walking
Walking to Radnor Lake State Park from central Murfreesboro is quite a long trek, as it is about 20 miles away. However, if you are up for the challenge, start at the Murfreesboro Square and walk north along N. Church St. Continue onto US-231 N (Murfreesboro Pike) until you reach Otter Creek Rd. Turn onto Otter Creek Rd and walk for about 2 miles until you arrive at the park. Be prepared for a lengthy walk, and consider stopping for refreshments along the way.
