If you're starting from the Oak Ridge Visitor Center located at 1401 Oak Ridge Turnpike, exit the building and head east on Oak Ridge Turnpike. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto S Illinois Ave. Continue for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with E Main St. Turn right onto E Main St and walk for another 0.7 miles. This road will eventually lead you to Knoxville. When you reach the city limits, keep an eye out for W Depot Ave on your right.
