Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the central area of Pigeon Forge, start at the Pigeon Forge Welcome Center located at 170 Old Mill Ave, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863. From there, head southeast on Old Mill Ave toward the Old Mill. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Parkway (US-441). Cross over to the Parkway and walk south. After about 0.5 miles, look for a bus stop near the Old Mill. Take the Pigeon Forge Trolley from here to the stop at McCarter Hollow Road, which should be announced by the driver.

  • Public Transport

    From the Pigeon Forge Welcome Center at 170 Old Mill Ave, walk to the nearest Trolley stop and board the Pigeon Forge Trolley heading towards the Dollywood area. You will need to transfer at the Dolly Parton Statue stop to the Blue Line Trolley. Stay on the trolley until you reach the stop at McCarter Hollow Road. The journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic and wait times.

    If you prefer to bike, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Pigeon Forge. Start at the Pigeon Forge Welcome Center and head southeast on Old Mill Ave. When you reach the Parkway, turn left and continue south. Follow the Parkway for approximately 1.5 miles until you see signs for McCarter Hollow Road. Turn right onto McCarter Hollow Road and follow it until you reach Parrot Mountain and Gardens at 1471 McCarter Hollow Rd.
