Walking
If you are starting from the center of Pigeon Forge, head southeast on the Parkway (US-441 S). This is the main road through Pigeon Forge and will lead you towards Dollywood. Continue walking straight for about 2.5 miles. You will pass various shops, restaurants, and attractions along the way. Once you reach Dollywood Parks Blvd, turn left. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you see the entrance to Dollywood on your right. Thunderhead is located within Dollywood, so you will need to enter the park.
