Car
If you're driving from anywhere in Rock City, start by heading east on Scenic Hwy toward TN-127 N. Follow Scenic Hwy for about 2.5 miles until you reach the intersection with River St. Turn left onto River St. Continue straight for about 1 mile, and you will find Coolidge Park on your right at 150 River St, Chattanooga, TN 37405. There is ample parking available nearby, but please be aware that parking may incur a fee depending on the time of day.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, check for the Chattanooga Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) bus routes. You can catch the bus at the nearest stop to your location. Take the bus that goes towards downtown Chattanooga. Ensure that you get off at the stop closest to River St. After disembarking, walk north on River St for approximately 5-10 minutes, and you will arrive at Coolidge Park. Be sure to check the current bus schedule and fare information on the CARTA website before your journey.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous and have access to a bicycle, you can ride from Rock City to Coolidge Park. Begin your ride by heading down Scenic Hwy and then take the bike-friendly routes towards Chattanooga. Follow River St directly to the park. The ride is approximately 3 miles and should take around 15-20 minutes, depending on your pace. Remember to wear a helmet and follow all traffic regulations.
