If you're driving from Rock City, start by heading southwest on Scenic Hwy toward the intersection with TN-157. Turn right onto TN-157 and continue for about 2 miles. Then, merge onto TN-27 S toward Chattanooga. After approximately 4 miles, take the exit for TN-153 N. Follow TN-153 N for about 3 miles, then merge onto US-27 S. Continue on US-27 S for about 5 miles, then take the exit onto I-24 E toward Knoxville. In about 2 miles, take exit 178 for US-41/US-76 toward Chattanooga. Follow signs for US-41 and continue onto US-41 S. After about 3 miles, take a left onto Game Reserve Rd. The Prentice Cooper State Forest Trailhead parking will be on your left after about 0.5 miles.
