  • Car

    From Rock City, take the main exit onto US-41 S. Drive for about 5 miles until you reach the intersection with TN-153 S. Merge onto TN-153 S and continue for about 3 miles. Take the exit towards I-75 S and merge onto I-75 S. After about 5 miles, take exit 1C for I-24 W towards Nashville. Continue on I-24 W for approximately 2.5 miles and take exit 178 for US-27 S towards Chattanooga. Follow US-27 S for about 3 miles. Take exit 1B towards downtown Chattanooga, and merge onto 4th St. Continue for about 1 mile, then turn left onto Dartmouth St. The Tennessee River Gorge Trust will be on your right at 1214 Dartmouth St, Chattanooga, TN 37405.

    From Rock City, you can take the CARTA bus service. Walk to the nearest bus stop and catch the #12 bus towards the Chattanooga Bus Station. The fare is $1.50. After about a 20-minute ride, get off at the Chattanooga Bus Station. From there, transfer to the #1 bus towards North Chattanooga, which costs another $1.50. Ride for approximately 15 minutes and get off at the stop near Dartmouth St. Walk a short distance to 1214 Dartmouth St, where the Tennessee River Gorge Trust is located.
