Car
If you are traveling by car from the center of Sequatchie Valley, start by heading north on TN-28 N. Continue for about 10 miles until you reach the junction with US-127 N. Merge onto US-127 N and follow it for approximately 15 miles. Take exit 1A to merge onto I-24 E toward Chattanooga. After about 25 miles, take exit 178 for US-27 N toward Chattanooga. Continue for about 2 miles and take exit 1A for 4th St. Turn left onto 4th St and then right onto Bluff View Ave. Williams Stairway will be located at 10 Bluff View Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37403. Note that parking may incur a small fee depending on the area, so be prepared with some cash or a card.

For those using public transportation, you can take the Sequatchie Valley Transit bus service to reach Chattanooga. Check the schedule for the nearest bus stop in Sequatchie Valley. Once in Chattanooga, you can transfer to the Chattanooga Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) bus system. Take the bus that goes to the downtown area and get off at the nearest stop to 4th St. Walk two blocks to Bluff View Ave to reach Williams Stairway. Be sure to check the latest bus schedules as they may vary, and keep some cash for fare.
