Car
If you're traveling by car within Sequatchie Valley, head southeast on TN-28 S. Follow TN-28 S for approximately 12 miles until you reach the intersection with GA-136 E. Turn right onto GA-136 E and continue for about 5 miles. Look for signs directing you to Cloudland Canyon State Park, then turn left onto Cloudland Canyon Park Rd. The park entrance will be on your left at 122 Cloudland Canyon Park Rd, Rising Fawn, GA 30738. Note that there is an entrance fee of $5 per vehicle.
Public Transportation
Public transportation options to Cloudland Canyon State Park are limited. If you are in a nearby city like Chattanooga, you can take a bus to Dunlap, TN. From Dunlap, you may need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach the park. The distance from Dunlap to the park is about 20 miles. Be prepared for potential costs associated with the taxi or rideshare, which may vary depending on demand.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous, biking to Cloudland Canyon State Park is an option! From Sequatchie Valley, take TN-28 S towards Rising Fawn, GA. It’s approximately a 12-mile ride. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow safety rules. Once you reach GA-136 E, turn right and continue until you see the park entrance. This route offers beautiful scenic views but be aware of traffic on the roads.
