Public Bus
To reach Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage from central Smyrna, start at the Smyrna Depot. Take the Route 1 bus towards Nashville. Stay on the bus for approximately 10 stops until you reach the stop at 'Old Hickory Blvd & Lebanon Pike'. From there, transfer to Route 6 towards Hermitage. Get off at 'Hermitage Station'. From the bus stop, walk north on Rachels Ln for about 15 minutes, and you will arrive at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle and ride to Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage. Start from the Smyrna Town Center and head east on Sam Ridley Pkwy. Continue on this road, which will eventually turn into Old Hickory Blvd. Follow Old Hickory Blvd for about 6 miles until you reach Rachels Ln. Turn left on Rachels Ln, and the Hermitage will be on your right after approximately 1 mile.
Walking
For those who enjoy walking, you can walk from central Smyrna to Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage. Start at the Smyrna Town Center and head east on Sam Ridley Pkwy. After about 3 miles, turn right onto Old Hickory Blvd. Continue walking on Old Hickory Blvd for about 2.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Rachels Ln. Turn left onto Rachels Ln, and the Hermitage will be about 1 mile ahead on your right.
