From Smyrna, walk to the nearest bus stop on Sam Ridley Parkway E. Take Bus Route 7 towards Nashville. Stay on the bus for approximately 30-40 minutes until you reach the Music City Central Transit Station in downtown Nashville. From there, transfer to Bus Route 18 towards the Tennessee State Museum. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop on Rosa L Parks Blvd, and the museum will be a short walk away.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Smyrna Town Center and head northwest on Sam Ridley Parkway. Continue straight until you reach Old Nashville Highway, then turn left. Follow Old Nashville Highway until you connect with Murfreesboro Road (US-41). Continue on Murfreesboro Road until you reach downtown Nashville. Once there, follow the signs to the Tennessee State Museum located at 1000 Rosa L Parks Blvd.
