Car
If you are traveling by car and already in the Tennessee River Gorge area, head towards Altamont, TN. First, find your way to US-41 S. Once on US-41 S, continue for approximately 15 miles until you reach Altamont. Look for signs directing you to Greeter Falls. As you approach the city center, take a left onto TN-56 E (also known as Main Street). Continue on TN-56 E for about 5 miles until you see the signs for South Cumberland State Park. Turn right into the park entrance, and follow the road until you reach the parking area for Greeter Falls. The overlook is a short hike from the parking area.

Once you arrive in Altamont, you can either walk or use a rideshare service to get to South Cumberland State Park.
