Getting There

• Public Bus

  From anywhere in Johnson City, locate the nearest bus stop for the Johnson City Transit. Take the Route 1 bus towards the Mall at Johnson City. Ride until you reach the stop at the Mall, which is a major hub. Transfer to the Route 10 bus heading towards Kingsport. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop nearest to the Kingsport Speedway, which is located on N John B Dennis Hwy. From the bus stop, you'll need to walk approximately 0.5 miles northeast along N John B Dennis Hwy to reach the speedway.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from a local shop. Start by heading to the Tweetsie Trail, a popular bike path in Johnson City. Follow the trail towards the direction of Kingsport, which will eventually lead you towards the N John B Dennis Hwy. Once you arrive at the highway, follow it to the northeast for about 10 miles. The Kingsport Speedway will be on your right side, just after passing by some commercial buildings.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk, you can start at Founders Park in downtown Johnson City. Head north on Market Street until you reach the intersection with W Walnut Street. Turn left onto W Walnut and continue walking for about a mile until you reach the intersection with N John B Dennis Hwy. At this point, turn right and walk along the highway for approximately 4 miles. The Kingsport Speedway will be on your left side, just before the intersection with Lee Highway.

• Rideshare

  Use a ridesharing app like Uber or Lyft. Simply set your pickup location in Johnson City and enter 'Kingsport Speedway' as your destination. The driver will take you directly to the speedway. Make sure to confirm with the driver to ensure they know the exact address: 2961 N John B Dennis Hwy, Kingsport, TN 37660.
