Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from downtown Johnson City. Head north on N Roan St toward E Main St. Continue on N Roan St for about 1.5 miles, then turn left onto W Walnut St. After about 0.3 miles, turn right onto S North St and continue for about 0.5 miles. You will reach the entrance of Tannery Knobs Mountain Bike Park at 18 Dennis Dr. Parking is available on-site.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, take the Johnson City Transit bus route that services downtown Johnson City. Board the bus heading toward the nearest stop to 18 Dennis Dr. From the bus stop, it will be about a 15-minute walk to the park. Head south on S North St until you reach W Walnut St, then turn left and continue walking until you reach Dennis Dr. The park entrance will be on your right.

• Bicycle

  For those arriving by bicycle, you can take the local bike trails that connect to Dennis Dr. Make your way to the Tweetsie Trail and follow it towards Johnson City. Once near the park, navigate to S North St, then turn onto Dennis Dr to access Tannery Knobs Mountain Bike Park. Be sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic and safety regulations.

• Walking

  If you are close enough to walk, the park is accessible from various neighborhoods in Johnson City. Simply navigate to Dennis Dr, which is located off S North St. The park is situated on a hillside, so be prepared for a bit of a climb as you approach the entrance.
