If you're driving from downtown Johnson City, take I-26 E towards Kingsport. After about 15 miles, take exit 10B to merge onto US-11E S towards Greeneville. Continue on US-11E S for about 20 miles. Once you reach Chuckey, turn right onto Chuckey Pike. The Historic Earnest Fort House will be on your left at 1600 Chuckey Pike, Chuckey, TN 37641. There is no entry fee to visit the house, but donations are appreciated.
