Bicycle
From downtown Abilene, start at the Abilene Convention Center. Head east on E South 11th St toward N 1st St. Turn left onto N 1st St and continue for about 1.5 miles. Turn right onto Grape St and follow it to S 27th St. Turn left and continue until you reach FM600. Turn right onto FM600, and after about 4 miles, Fort Phantom Hill will be on your left.

Begin your journey at the Abilene Public Library. Take the city bus route 1 towards the Mall. Get off at the Mall stop and transfer to bus route 5 heading towards South 1st St. Disembark at the stop nearest to FM600. From there, walk approximately 1.5 miles north on FM600, and you will arrive at Fort Phantom Hill on your right.
