Getting There

  • Public Bus

    Start at Abilene's public transportation hub, the Abilene Transit System located at 1001 N 1st St. Board the Route 1 bus heading towards the Mall of Abilene. Stay on the bus until you reach the 'Mall of Abilene' stop. From there, transfer to Route 2, which travels towards the West Texas Fairgrounds. Stay on the Route 2 bus until you reach the 'West Texas Fairgrounds' stop.

    After getting off the Route 2 bus at the West Texas Fairgrounds stop, walk south on S Treadaway Blvd for about 0.5 miles until you reach FM 600. Turn left onto FM 600 and continue walking for about 3 miles. Historic Fort Phantom Hill will be on your right at 10818 FM 600. Look for the entrance on your right.
