Getting There

• Public Bus

  If you are starting from the Texas State Capitol, walk to the nearest bus stop located at 15th St. & Congress Ave. Take the MetroBus 1 (the 'Red Line') towards South Congress. Ride for about 5 stops until you reach the 5th St. & Brazos St. stop. From there, walk east on 5th St. for about 2 blocks until you reach HandleBar at 121 E 5th St.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to ride a bike, you can rent one from a local bike-sharing service like B-Cycle. Start at the Austin Convention Center and head east on Cesar Chavez St. Turn left onto Congress Ave. and then right onto 5th St. Continue on 5th St. for 0.5 miles until you arrive at HandleBar located at 121 E 5th St.

• Walking

  If you are close to the famous Sixth Street area, you can easily walk to HandleBar. Start at the intersection of 6th St. and Congress Ave., head east along 6th St. for about 4 blocks, then turn left onto Brazos St. Walk one block north and then turn right onto 5th St. HandleBar will be on your right at 121 E 5th St.

• Rideshare

  If you prefer a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft, simply open the app and enter 'HandleBar, 121 E 5th St., Austin, TX 78701' as your destination. The driver will pick you up from your current location and take you directly to HandleBar. Make sure to confirm the drop-off point is at the front of the bar.
