Getting There

• Public Bus

  If you're in Downtown Austin, locate the nearest bus stop. You can take the Capital Metro bus route 1, 4, or 10, which all stop near Lavaca St. Board the bus heading towards the city center and listen for the stop announcements. Get off at the '8th St & Lavaca' stop. From there, walk north on Lavaca St for a short distance until you reach 405 Lavaca St. The Lavaca Street Bar will be on your left.

• Bicycle

  Austin has a bike-sharing program called B-Cycle. If you’re near a B-Cycle station, rent a bike and set your destination for 405 Lavaca St. You can ride along the bike lanes on 4th St or 6th St, which will lead you directly to Lavaca St. Once you reach Lavaca, head north and the bar will be on your left at 405 Lavaca St.

  If you are already in the downtown area, simply navigate to Lavaca St. If you are near the Texas State Capitol, head south on Guadalupe St until you reach 4th St. Turn left on 4th St and walk a few blocks until you reach Lavaca St. Turn right on Lavaca St and continue walking. The Lavaca Street Bar will be on your left at 405 Lavaca St.

  Use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. Open your app and set your destination to 'Lavaca Street Bar, 405 Lavaca St, Austin, TX 78701'. The driver will pick you up from your current location and take you directly to the bar. Make sure to confirm the driver's details before getting in.
