If you're starting from the Texas State Capitol, walk to the nearest bus stop at 15th St & Congress Ave. Take Capital Metro Bus Route 4 (Red River) towards the East Side. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop for E 2nd St & Brazos St. From there, walk a short distance west on E 2nd St, and you will find Tau Ceti at the intersection with Brazos St.

If you are in the Downtown area, you can easily walk to Tau Ceti. For instance, from the historic Driskill Hotel, head east on 6th St until you reach Congress Ave. Turn left (north) on Congress Ave and walk until you reach E 2nd St. Turn right (east) on E 2nd St, and Tau Ceti will be at the intersection with Brazos St. The walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes.

Public Transit - MetroRail
If you are near the MetroRail station, board the MetroRail at the Downtown station and take it southbound towards the Lakeline station. Get off at the Plaza Saltillo station. From there, transfer to Bus Route 10 (Burnet) and ride towards Downtown Austin. Get off at E 2nd St & Brazos St. Tau Ceti is located at that intersection.
