Once you reach 11th Street, turn left and continue walking until you reach San Marcos Street. Turn right onto San Marcos Street, and you will find the French Legation at 802 San Marcos St on your left.

You can take the Capital Metro bus service from various locations in Downtown Austin. Look for bus route 4, which travels towards the Eastside. Get off at the stop at 8th Street and San Marcos Street.
