Public Bus
From downtown Beaumont, head to the Beaumont Transit Center located at 801 Main St. Take Bus Route 4 towards the Fairgrounds. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes, and get off at the stop near the intersection of TX-124 and the Fairgrounds. From there, walk south on TX-124 for about 0.5 miles. You will see the Clifton Steamboat Museum on your left at 8727 TX-124.
Bicycle
If you're comfortable riding a bike, rent one from a local shop. Start at the Beaumont Civic Center and head south on Main St. Continue onto Cardinal Dr. After about 1.5 miles, turn right onto TX-124. Continue on TX-124 for about 1 mile until you reach the Clifton Steamboat Museum at 8727 TX-124, which will be on your left.
Walking
If you're close to downtown Beaumont, you can walk to the museum. Start at 5th St and Main St. Walk south on Main St until you reach Cardinal Dr. Turn right on Cardinal Dr and walk until you reach TX-124. Turn left onto TX-124 and walk approximately 1.5 miles. The Clifton Steamboat Museum will be on your left at 8727 TX-124.
