If you're starting from downtown Brownsville, make your way to E 12th St. Head east on E 12th St toward E Washington St. Continue straight until you reach E Ringgold St. Turn left onto E Ringgold St and continue walking straight for about 10 blocks. The Gladys Porter Zoo will be on your right at 500 E Ringgold St. It should take you approximately 25-30 minutes to walk there.
