To reach Hans & Pat Suter Wildlife Refuge using public transportation, start by locating the nearest bus stop in Corpus Christi. If you are near the downtown area, head to the Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority (CCRTA) bus station located at 602 N Staples St. From there, take the bus route #29 (Southside). Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at 'Ennis Joslin Rd and S. Padre Island Dr.' This stop will be approximately 30-40 minutes away, depending on traffic. After getting off the bus, walk east on Ennis Joslin Rd for about 0.5 miles, and you will arrive at the entrance of Hans & Pat Suter Wildlife Refuge.

Bicycle
If you're planning to bike to the Hans & Pat Suter Wildlife Refuge, start in downtown Corpus Christi. Head east on Water St toward the bayfront and take the bike trail along Shoreline Blvd. Continue on the trail until you reach the intersection with S. Padre Island Dr. Turn south on S. Padre Island Dr. (TX-358), and then turn right onto Ennis Joslin Rd. The refuge is located about 1.5 miles from this intersection. Follow the road until you see the entrance on your right.

Walking
For those who prefer to walk from the nearby areas, if you are near the bayfront, walk south on Shoreline Blvd until you reach the intersection with S. Padre Island Dr. Cross over to the south side of S. Padre Island Dr and continue heading east along Ennis Joslin Rd. The refuge is located about 1.5 miles from this intersection. Make sure to stay on the sidewalk as you walk; the refuge entrance will be on your right.
