From there, walk approximately 10 minutes south along S Staples St to reach the South Texas Botanical Gardens & Nature Center at 8545 S Staples St.

If you are cycling, head south from downtown along the scenic Shoreline Blvd. Continue along the waterfront, passing by the marina and taking the path that leads out of the downtown area. Follow the bike lanes which will guide you towards S Staples St. Once you reach S Staples St, turn left and continue cycling south for about 4 miles until you arrive at the South Texas Botanical Gardens & Nature Center at 8545 S Staples St.
