Public Transit
If you're starting from downtown Dallas, head to the DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) station at Akard Station, which is located near the intersection of Main St and Akard St. From Akard Station, take the Blue Line train towards 'Ledbetter'. Stay on the train for about 7 stops, approximately 20 minutes of travel. Get off at the 'Cedar Crest' station. After exiting the train, walk southeast on S 10th St for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with S Harwood St. Turn left onto S Harwood St and continue walking for about 10 minutes. Millermore House will be on your right at 1515 S Harwood St.

From the West End Historic District, walk to the West End DART station. Board the Green Line train towards 'Buckner'. After 4 stops (approximately 12 minutes), get off at the 'Cedar Crest' station. Exit the station and head southeast on S 10th St. Walk for about 5 minutes until you reach S Harwood St. Turn left and continue walking for about 10 minutes. Millermore House is located at 1515 S Harwood St on your right.
Bicycle Rental
For those who prefer cycling, consider renting a bike through a local bike-sharing program. If you're in downtown Dallas, head towards the Dallas Convention Center area. From there, follow the bike lanes south on S Harwood St. It’s about a 15-20 minute ride (approximately 2.5 miles). Keep an eye out for bike lanes and be cautious of traffic. Millermore House is located at 1515 S Harwood St. There should be bike racks available near the house for parking.
