To reach the White Rock Pump Station - Texas State Historical Marker from downtown Dallas, start by taking the DART light rail from either the West End Station or the Akard Station. Board the Green Line train heading towards 'DFW Airport'. Stay on the train for about 12 stops, getting off at the 'Lake Highlands' station. Once you exit the station, transfer to the 22 bus (the 'Lovers Lane - Lake Highlands' route) which will take you closer to White Rock Lake. Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes until you reach the stop at 'White Rock Rd @ Lakewood Blvd'. From there, walk south on White Rock Rd for approximately 0.5 miles. The White Rock Pump Station will be on your left at 2900 White Rock Rd.

If you're planning to ride a bicycle, start from downtown Dallas and head east towards the Santa Fe Trail. Follow the trail which will lead you towards Lakewood. When you reach the intersection with White Rock Rd, turn left and continue heading north for about 1 mile. You’ll see the White Rock Pump Station on your right at 2900 White Rock Rd. Be sure to follow any bike lanes and stay safe on the roads!
