    Getting There

    Public Transit

    From downtown Dallas, head to the nearest DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) light rail station. Take the Green Line train towards 'Farmers Branch'. After about 20 minutes, disembark at the 'Lake Highlands' station. Once you exit the station, walk east on Northwest Highway (US-75) for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach E Lawther Drive. Turn left onto E Lawther Drive and continue walking for about 0.8 miles. You will arrive at White Rock Lake Park. The park entrance will be on your right.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations available in downtown Dallas. Head east on Main Street and continue until you reach the Santa Fe Trail. Follow the trail which will take you along a scenic route towards White Rock Lake. After about 4 miles, the trail will lead you directly to the park entrance on E Lawther Drive.

    Walking

    If you are staying near the Dallas Arboretum, you can easily walk to White Rock Lake Park. Start at the Arboretum and walk northwest on Garland Road. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto E Lawther Drive. Continue walking for approximately 1 mile, and you will reach the entrance to White Rock Lake Park on your right. This route offers beautiful views of the lake along the way.
