Public Transit
If you are starting from downtown El Paso, walk to the Sun Metro bus station located at 601 Santa Fe St. Take Bus Route 5 (Mesa) heading towards Mesa St. and transfer at the stop near the intersection of Mesa St and Rim Rd. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to Tom Lea Upper Park. Head west on Rim Rd, and you will reach the park entrance at 900 Rim Rd.
Bicycle
Starting from the El Paso Museum of Art, head northwest on Main St toward W Mills Ave. Turn right onto W Mills Ave, then turn left onto Santa Fe St. Follow Santa Fe St to the intersection with Rim Rd. Turn right onto Rim Rd and follow it straight to Tom Lea Upper Park, which is located at 900 Rim Rd. The ride should take about 25 minutes.
Walking
If you are near the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), exit the campus from the main entrance on University Ave. Walk west toward Rim Rd and follow it until you reach Tom Lea Upper Park at 900 Rim Rd. The walk will take approximately 30 minutes, and you will enjoy scenic views along the way.
