Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in Downtown El Paso, the El Paso Star is located on Scenic Drive, a bit of a distance but reachable by foot. Start from the El Paso Museum of Art, located at 1 Arts Festival Plaza. Head south on S El Paso St toward W Main Dr. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach W San Antonio Ave. Turn left and proceed for about 0.2 miles until you reach N Kansas St. Turn right onto N Kansas St and walk for about 0.3 miles. After that, turn left onto Scenic Dr. The El Paso Star should be visible as you approach the area.

• Public Transit

  For a quicker option, consider using the Sun Metro bus service. From any location in Downtown, find the nearest bus stop for Route 5, which travels towards Scenic Drive. Board the bus, and stay on for approximately 15-20 minutes. Make sure to get off at the stop closest to Scenic Dr and W Sunland Park Dr. From there, it’s a short walk up to the star. The fare for a one-way trip is about $1.50, and you can purchase tickets at the bus terminal or via the Sun Metro app.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations in Downtown El Paso. Start from the station at 100 N Oregon St and head west on W Franklin Ave, then take a right onto S El Paso St. Continue until you reach the intersection with Scenic Dr. The ride should take roughly 15-20 minutes, depending on your pace. Remember to wear a helmet and follow all traffic rules. Check for bike rental fees before starting your journey.
