Public Transit
If you are starting from downtown Fort Worth, head to the Fort Worth Central Station. You can take the Trinity Metro bus routes 1, 2, or 7. Board the bus that goes toward the Cultural District. Once you are on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride. Get off at the stop at 7th Street and University Drive, which is close to the Cultural District. From there, you will need to walk about half a mile to reach Van Zandt Cottage.
Walking
After getting off the bus at 7th Street and University Drive, head west on 7th Street until you reach the intersection with University Drive. Turn left onto University Drive and continue walking until you reach the entrance to the Cultural District. Follow the signs to the Log Cabin Village, where Van Zandt Cottage is located. The address is 2933 Farm House Way, and you will find it within the village area.
Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the bike share stations around downtown Fort Worth. Head west on 7th Street, which has bike lanes, and follow it until you reach the Cultural District. Once you reach University Drive, follow the same route as detailed for walking. Biking offers a great way to enjoy the outdoor scenery along the way to Van Zandt Cottage.
