Walking
If you are starting from the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, exit the pier and head southeast towards Seawall Blvd. Turn right (south) onto Seawall Blvd and continue walking for about 1.5 miles. You will pass by various shops and restaurants along the way. Once you reach the intersection with 61st St, turn left (east) and walk for about 0.3 miles until you reach the entrance of Moody Gardens, where the Discovery Pyramid is located.

Public Bus
From the Galveston Transit Center, board the Island Transit Bus Route 1. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes, and get off at the Moody Gardens stop. After disembarking, walk towards the entrance of Moody Gardens, and you will find the Discovery Pyramid right ahead.

Biking
If you have access to a bike, start from the Galveston ferry terminal. Ride northwest on Ferry Rd, then turn left onto 14th St. Continue straight until you reach Seawall Blvd, where you will turn right (south). Bike along Seawall Blvd for about 2 miles until you reach 61st St. Turn left, and you will find Moody Gardens and the Discovery Pyramid after a short ride.
