If you're starting from the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, head northeast on Seawall Blvd toward 21st St. Continue walking on Seawall Blvd for about 0.5 miles until you reach 25th St. Turn left onto 25th St and walk for about 0.3 miles. Turn right onto Rosenberg St, and the Texas Heroes Monument will be on your left at 823 Rosenberg St.
Bicycle
From the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, rent a bicycle from a nearby rental shop. Ride northeast on Seawall Blvd for about 0.5 miles until you reach 25th St. Turn left onto 25th St and cycle for about 0.3 miles. Turn right onto Rosenberg St, and you will find Texas Heroes Monument on your left at 823 Rosenberg St.
Public Transit
Find the nearest bus stop that serves the Island Transit system (you can check the schedule online or at your hotel). Board the bus heading towards the Strand Historic District. Get off at the stop nearest to 25th St and Strand St. From there, walk east on Strand St until you reach 25th St. Turn left on 25th St and continue until you reach Rosenberg St. Turn right, and the Texas Heroes Monument will be on your left at 823 Rosenberg St.
