If you are starting from the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, head east on Seawall Blvd. Walk along the sidewalk which runs parallel to the beach. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 miles until you reach Stewart Beach, which is located at 401 Seawall Blvd. You will see the beach entrance on your left.
Biking
If you are renting a bike, start from the central area of Galveston. Head towards Seawall Blvd and turn right. Cycle along the bike path on Seawall Blvd for approximately 1.5 miles. Keep an eye out for the sign directing you to Stewart Beach at 401 Seawall Blvd, which will be on your left as you approach.
Public Transit (Bus)
To reach Stewart Beach via public transit, locate the nearest bus stop for the Galveston Island Trolley. Take the Seawall Route heading towards the beach. The trolley will make several stops along Seawall Blvd. Get off at the stop closest to 401 Seawall Blvd. From there, it's just a short walk to the beach entrance.
