Car
To reach Doornbos Heritage Park by car, start from any location in the Golden Triangle area. If you are near Beaumont, take I-10 West. Exit at TX-69 North toward Nederland. Continue on TX-69 for about 8 miles. After passing the intersection with 27th Street, take a right onto Avenue H. Continue straight for approximately 1 mile, and the park will be on your left at 2301 Avenue H, Nederland, TX 77627. There is no entrance fee to the park.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, check for local bus services that operate in the Golden Triangle area, particularly the services provided by the South East Texas Transit. You can take a bus that heads towards Nederland and ask the driver to let you off at the nearest stop to Avenue H. Once you get off, it will be about a 0.5-mile walk to Doornbos Heritage Park. Walk north on Avenue H until you reach the park. Note that bus fares may apply, so check the current rates before boarding.
Walking
If you are already close to the park and prefer to walk, make sure to use a reliable map app on your smartphone to navigate. Head towards Avenue H, as the park is located at 2301 Avenue H, Nederland, TX 77627. The park is open from 6 AM to 9 PM daily, so plan your visit accordingly.
