Getting There

• Public Transportation

  To get to Dean's Downtown from The Woodlands, start by taking the METRO bus route 1 from The Woodlands Transit Center. This bus will take you towards the Northline Transit Center. Once you arrive at the Northline, transfer to the METRO bus route 102, which will take you directly to downtown Houston. Get off at the stop closest to Main St. From there, walk south on Main St for about 5 minutes until you reach 316 Main St, where Dean's Downtown is located.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in The Woodlands. Start by heading south towards the Woodlands Parkway, then follow the bike lanes south until you reach the intersection with I-45. Continue on the bike trails that lead towards Houston. Once you are near downtown, use a bike navigation app to guide you to Dean's Downtown at 316 Main St. It is approximately a 13-mile ride, so make sure you are comfortable biking that distance.

• Walking

  Although walking all the way from The Woodlands to Houston is quite a trek (approximately 28 miles), if you are feeling adventurous, you can start by walking to the nearest bus stop on Woodlands Parkway. From there, take the METRO bus into Houston and follow the directions provided above. However, I recommend using public transportation or biking for convenience.

• Rideshare Service

  For a more direct route, consider using a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. Simply request a ride to 316 Main St, Houston, TX 77002. This option will take you directly to Dean's Downtown without the need for multiple transfers, and you can expect the ride to take about 30 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
