Getting There

Walking
From the center of New Braunfels, head northwest on W San Antonio St toward N Seguin Ave. Continue walking straight for about half a mile until you reach the intersection with N Walnut Ave. Turn right onto N Walnut Ave and continue for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with the Loop 337. Here, cross the street to reach the bus stop on the side of the road. Take the Comal County Transit bus heading towards Canyon Lake, which will take approximately 30 minutes. The bus will drop you off at the Canyon Lake Park entrance.

Biking
Rent a bike from one of the local shops in New Braunfels. Start at the Comal River Park and take the bike path along the river heading east. Follow the path until you reach the intersection with TX-46. Turn left onto TX-46 and continue for about 5 miles. Eventually, you will see signs for Canyon Lake. As you approach Canyon Lake, keep an eye out for the bike lanes to ensure a safe ride. Follow the signs to the Canyon Lake Park entrance.

From the New Braunfels downtown area, walk to the nearest bus stop located on E San Antonio St. Board the Comal County Transit bus that is headed towards Canyon Lake. The journey will take around 30-40 minutes. The bus will drop you off at Canyon Lake Park, where you can explore the beautiful scenery.
