MetroRail
To reach the Downtown Houston Tunnel System at 909 Fannin St #1650, start by locating the nearest MetroRail station. If you are near the Main Street Square Station, board the Red Line train towards the Northline Transit Center. Stay on the train for about 5 stops, and get off at the Theater District Station. From there, exit the station and walk towards the intersection of Fannin St and Texas Ave. The entrance to the Downtown Tunnel System is located a short walk down Fannin St.
Bus
If you prefer to take a bus, find a nearby bus stop served by Metro buses. For example, catch the 40 or 42 bus from a stop on Main St. Ride the bus towards the downtown area, and disembark at the stop closest to Fannin St. Walk north on Fannin St, and you will find the entrance to the Downtown Houston Tunnel System at 909 Fannin St. Make sure to check the Metro website for the latest bus schedules.
Walking
If you are already in the downtown area, you can walk to the Downtown Houston Tunnel System. Locate yourself at Discovery Green Park, which is a central spot in downtown. From Discovery Green, head northeast on La Branch St until you reach Texas Ave. Turn left onto Texas Ave and then turn right onto Fannin St. The Downtown Tunnel System entrance will be right ahead at 909 Fannin St #1650.
Bicycle
For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing programs. Begin your ride from a nearby bike station and head towards the downtown area. Follow the bike lanes along Smith St and then turn onto Texas Ave. Continue until you reach Fannin St, where you will see the entrance to the Downtown Houston Tunnel System at 909 Fannin St #1650.
