    Metro

Get off at the 'Museum District' station, and transfer to a bus or walk to the park. If you prefer to walk, it will take you about 20 minutes. Follow the signs to Hermann Park and then head northwest towards Bagby Street where Sam Houston Park is located.

    Bus

    From the downtown area, locate the nearest bus stop and take the METRO bus route 40, which goes towards the 'Greenway Plaza'. Get off at the 'Bagby St @ Walker St' stop. From there, it's a short walk to Sam Houston Park. Simply head north on Bagby Street until you reach the park entrance at 1000 Bagby St.
