Walking
If you are in Montrose, the easiest way to get to Menil Park is by walking. Start at the intersection of Westheimer Rd and Montrose Blvd. Head east on Westheimer Rd for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Branard St. Turn right onto Branard St, and continue for another 0.2 miles. Menil Park will be on your left at 1423 Branard St, Houston, TX 77006. The park is open from 7 AM to 7 PM daily, so plan your visit accordingly.
Bicycle
For a more active option, consider renting a bicycle. There are several bike rental options available around Montrose. Once you have a bike, start from the Montrose area and cycle east on Westheimer Rd for about 0.5 miles. Then, take a right turn onto Branard St and ride for about 0.2 miles. You'll find Menil Park on your left at 1423 Branard St. Remember to wear a helmet and follow local cycling laws.
Public Transit
If you prefer public transportation, you can take the METRO Bus. Locate the nearest bus stop on Westheimer Rd and catch the 25 or 82 bus heading toward downtown. Get off at the stop near the intersection of Westheimer Rd and Branard St. From there, it's a short walk east on Branard St for about 0.2 miles to reach Menil Park at 1423 Branard St. Keep in mind that bus fares are typically around $1.25 per trip.
