Getting There

• Public Transit

  From Irving, head to the nearest DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) station. The closest station is the 'Irving Convention Center' station. Take the Orange Line train towards 'Dallas' and ride it to 'West End Station.' From there, transfer to the Green Line train towards 'North Carrollton' and ride it until you reach 'Victory Station.' At 'Victory Station,' transfer to the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) at 'Victory Station' towards 'Fort Worth.' Get off at 'Fort Worth Central Station.' Once you arrive at 'Fort Worth Central Station,' you can either walk or take a short bus ride to the Fort Worth Water Gardens located at 1502 Commerce St, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the station.

• Shuttle Service

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider using a shuttle service. Many hotels in Irving offer shuttle services to Fort Worth attractions. Check with your hotel’s front desk to see if they provide a shuttle to the Fort Worth Water Gardens. If they do, simply schedule a time for pickup, and they will take you directly to the Water Gardens at 1502 Commerce St.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous, rent a bicycle from local rental shops in Irving. Head southwest on N O’Connor Rd towards W John Carpenter Fwy, and continue onto TX-183 W. Follow the bike paths to connect to the Trinity Trails, which will lead you directly into Fort Worth. Follow the trails to reach the Fort Worth Water Gardens, located at 1502 Commerce St. This route is scenic and allows you to enjoy the outdoors.

• Walking

  If you are close to the DART station and want to explore, you can walk to the Fort Worth Water Gardens. From the 'Fort Worth Central Station,' head east on W 9th St toward Houston St, then turn right onto Houston St. Continue on Houston St until you reach 1502 Commerce St, where the Water Gardens are located. This walk will take approximately 15 minutes and gives you a chance to see the local area.
