  • Walking

    From Downtown Lubbock, start at the intersection of 19th Street and University Avenue. Head north on University Avenue for about 0.5 miles until you reach 24th Street. Turn left onto 24th Street and continue west for approximately 1 mile. You will cross over Indiana Avenue. At the end of 24th Street, turn right onto Landmark Drive. After a short walk down Landmark Drive, Lubbock Lake National Historic Landmark will be on your right at 2401 Landmark Dr.

    If you prefer to ride a bike, you can rent one from a local bike-sharing service. Start from Downtown Lubbock at the bike station near the Lubbock City Hall. Head east on 19th Street towards University Avenue and take a left to head north. Continue on University Avenue until you reach 24th Street. Turn left onto 24th Street and ride west for about 1 mile. After crossing Indiana Avenue, make a right onto Landmark Drive. The landmark is just ahead on your right at 2401 Landmark Dr.

    You can take the Citibus from Downtown Lubbock. Board the bus at the Citibus stop located at the intersection of 19th Street and University Avenue. You will need to take the Route 5 bus heading towards the Lubbock Christian University. Get off at the stop near the intersection of 24th Street and Indiana Avenue. From there, walk west on 24th Street until you reach Landmark Drive, then turn right. Lubbock Lake National Historic Landmark will be on your right at 2401 Landmark Dr. Note that the bus fare is $1.00.
