Walking
If you're starting from the McAllen Convention Center, head northeast on Convention Center Blvd toward 29th St. Continue on Convention Center Blvd until you reach 29th St, then turn left. Walk straight until you reach N 10th St, then turn right. Continue walking north on N 10th St until you reach E Nolana Ave. Turn left on E Nolana Ave and walk until you reach S Main St. Turn right on S Main St and walk for about 5 minutes. La Placita will be on your right at 308 S Main St.
Public Transit
From McAllen Transit Center, take the Route 1 bus heading towards N 10th St. Get off at the S Main St stop. From there, walk south on S Main St for a few minutes, and you will find La Placita at 308 S Main St on your left.
Biking
If you are renting a bike, start from the McAllen Bicycle Trail. Head east and follow the trail until you reach 23rd St. Turn right on 23rd St and continue until you reach N 10th St. Turn left on N 10th St and continue until you reach E Nolana Ave. Turn left on E Nolana Ave and then turn right on S Main St. Continue biking for about 5 minutes, and La Placita will be on your right at 308 S Main St.
