Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the downtown area of McAllen, start at the McAllen Public Library located at 4001 N 23rd St. From the library, head north on 23rd St until you reach the intersection with N 29th St. Turn left (west) onto N 29th St. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 miles. You will pass by residential neighborhoods and a few local shops. Zinnia Park will be on your right at 5201 N 29th St. Look for the park entrance, where you can enjoy the beautiful landscaping and facilities.

• Public Transit

  From the McAllen Convention Center, walk to the nearest bus stop at 700 Convention Center Blvd. Board the Metro McAllen Bus Route 1 heading north. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the stop at N 29th St and W Trenton Rd. After getting off the bus, walk a short distance north on N 29th St for about 0.4 miles. Zinnia Park will be on your left at 5201 N 29th St. Enjoy the park's amenities and natural beauty.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bike, start from the McAllen Nature Center located at 4101 U.S. 83 Business. Exit the Nature Center and head south on the bike path that runs alongside U.S. 83 Business. After about 1 mile, turn right onto N 29th St. Continue biking north for about 1 mile, and Zinnia Park will be on your right at 5201 N 29th St. Enjoy your ride and the scenic views along the way!
