    Car

    From McKinney Falls State Park, head west on Park Road 1 towards the entrance of the park. Turn left onto US-183 N and continue for about 8 miles. Merge onto TX-71 W and follow signs for I-35 N/Austin. Take the exit toward Riverside Dr, then turn right onto Riverside Drive. Continue for approximately 2 miles, then turn left onto Boardwalk. Look for parking options along the boardwalk area, which might incur a parking fee depending on the time of day.

    From McKinney Falls State Park, walk to the nearest bus stop on US-183. Board the Capital Metro bus route 20 towards the downtown area. Ride for approximately 30 minutes and get off at the stop near Riverside Dr. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the Austin Boardwalk.
