To get to Thinkery from McKinney Falls State Park by car, start by exiting the park and heading west on McKinney Falls Parkway. Merge onto TX-71 W via the ramp to US-183. Continue on TX-71 W for about 6 miles. Take the exit toward US-183 N/Austin. Merge onto US-183 N and continue for approximately 4 miles. Take the exit toward 51st St and turn right onto 51st St. Continue straight until you reach Simond Ave, then turn left. Thinkery will be on your right at 1830 Simond Ave, Austin, TX 78723. Be aware of potential parking fees at Thinkery, which may vary.

To reach Thinkery via public transportation from McKinney Falls State Park, first, you will need to get to a nearby bus stop. Walk to the nearest bus stop on McKinney Falls Parkway and catch the Capital Metro bus route 20 (Lamar/45th). Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at 51st St and Lamar Blvd. From there, transfer to bus route 3 (Burnet/Manchaca) and ride until you reach the stop at 51st St and Simond Ave. Walk east on Simond Ave for a short distance, and Thinkery will be on your left at 1830 Simond Ave, Austin, TX 78723.
