If you are starting from downtown Midland, you can take the Midland City Bus. Board the Route 1 bus at the Midland Downtown Transit Center located at 200 W. Wall St. The bus runs every 30 minutes. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes and get off at the stop near the intersection of I-20 and Lamesa Road. From there, you can walk approximately 0.5 miles east along I-20. The Permian Basin Petroleum Museum will be on your left at 1500 I-20.
Bicycle

If you prefer to cycle, start from downtown Midland and head west on Wall St. until it intersects with Big Spring St. Turn left onto Big Spring St. and continue to follow it as it becomes I-20. Continue on I-20 for about 1.5 miles until you reach the museum located at 1500 I-20. There is bike parking available at the museum.
Walking

For those who prefer to walk, if you are near the Midland College campus, head north on the college grounds until you reach the intersection of Wadley Ave and I-20. Continue walking east along I-20 for about 1.2 miles. The Permian Basin Petroleum Museum will be on your right at 1500 I-20. Be sure to watch for traffic as you walk along the road.
