If you are starting from downtown Midland, you can take the Midland City Bus. Board the Route 1 bus at the Midland Downtown Transit Center located at 200 W. Wall St. The bus runs every 30 minutes. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes and get off at the stop near the intersection of I-20 and Lamesa Road. From there, you can walk approximately 0.5 miles east along I-20. The Permian Basin Petroleum Museum will be on your left at 1500 I-20.

If you prefer to cycle, start from downtown Midland and head west on Wall St. until it intersects with Big Spring St. Turn left onto Big Spring St. and continue to follow it as it becomes I-20.
