Getting There

• Public Bus

  If you're starting in downtown New Braunfels, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the Comal County Transit bus route that goes towards Fischer. Make sure to check the schedule and get on the bus that stops at FM 32. Once you get off the bus, walk northwest along FM 32 for about 0.5 miles until you reach Devil's Backbone Tavern at 4041 Farm to Market 32.

• Bicycle

  If you have a bicycle, you can ride from downtown New Braunfels. Head west on San Antonio Street until you reach the intersection with Walnut Avenue and turn left. Continue on Walnut Avenue until it turns into FM 306. Follow FM 306 north until you reach the intersection with FM 32. Turn right on FM 32 and ride for about 5 miles. Devil's Backbone Tavern will be on your left at 4041 Farm to Market 32.

• Walking

  If you're feeling adventurous and the weather is nice, walking from downtown New Braunfels to Devil's Backbone Tavern is a great option! Start by heading west on San Antonio Street, then turn left onto Walnut Avenue, which will become FM 306. Continue walking along FM 306 until you reach FM 32. Take a right onto FM 32, and after about 1.5 miles, you will find the tavern on your left at 4041 Farm to Market 32.
