Bus
From the center of New Braunfels, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the VIA Metropolitan Transit bus #225 towards San Antonio. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'I-10 & Loop 1604' stop. From there, transfer to the bus #646 which will take you directly to the 'Fiesta Texas' stop, located near the Iron Rattler. Walk for about 5 minutes towards the entrance of the park.
Bicycle
Rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in New Braunfels. Start your ride on the Riverwalk trail heading west until you reach the intersection with Highway 46. Continue onto Highway 46 and follow it as it merges onto I-10. Be cautious of traffic as you ride along the shoulder for about 5 miles. Follow the signs to 'Fiesta Texas' and park your bike at the designated area near the entrance.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous, you can walk to the Iron Rattler from New Braunfels. Start by heading west on San Antonio Street until you reach the intersection with Loop 337. Turn left and walk until you reach the intersection with I-10. Cross carefully at the crosswalk and continue on the sidewalk for about 2 miles. You will eventually see signs directing you to 'Fiesta Texas', where the Iron Rattler is located.
Taxi or Rideshare
Use a rideshare app like Uber or Lyft. Open the app and request a ride to '17000 West Interstate 10, San Antonio, TX 78257'. The driver will pick you up from your location in New Braunfels and take you directly to the Iron Rattler. The ride should take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic.
