Public Bus
If you are starting from downtown New Braunfels, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is at the intersection of E San Antonio St and N Seguin Ave. Catch the VIA Metropolitan Transit bus route 4 towards San Antonio. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the 'Civic Center' stop in San Antonio. From there, transfer to route 5 and head towards 'King William Historic District'. Get off at the 'Dignowity Hill' stop and walk a few blocks to Madison St. The King William Historic District will be on your left at 122 Madison St.
Bicycle Rental
You can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in New Braunfels. After renting, head south on S Seguin Ave towards the intersection with W Mill St. Turn right on W Mill St, then follow the road as it curves into E San Antonio St. Continue straight for about 10 miles, following signs towards San Antonio. Once you reach the River Walk, ride until you see the King William Historic District. The address is 122 Madison St, which you will find on your right.
Walking
If you are in central New Braunfels, you can walk to the bus station and take a bus to San Antonio. From there, head south on the River Walk until you reach the intersection with King William St. Turn left onto King William St and walk until you reach Madison St. The King William Historic District is at 122 Madison St. This walk will take you about 1 hour and 30 minutes, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes.
